ABOUT OUR FIRM

Originally established in 1970, we are a retained executive search firm dedicated to education and not-for-profit institutions, with headquarters in Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area. We specialize in searches at the leadership level.

For over three decades we have successfully executed a vast array of search engagements at local, regional, and national levels for not-for-profit organizations, colleges and universities, hospitals and health systems, arts and culture institutions, state and county governments, and child welfare organizations.

Our working relationship with clients is always a partnership. We know that when we reach out to prospective candidates we are an extension of our client. Therefore we put maximum effort into understanding not only a client's unique leadership needs, but also into developing a deep appreciation for its history, culture, and values.

Because we are a boutique firm we are nimble. Our overhead costs are lower than big executive search firms, which means our fees are lower, too. And while we are dedicated to identifying the highest quality candidates in a timely and cost effective manner, we are equally committed to protecting the confidentiality, trust, and integrity of all parties.
